VISION

I am the leader of the school newsletter, with all submissions submitted to me and the final draft given to my principal mentor for her final approval and weekly note to the staff. This newsletter was the idea of our principal leader and given to me as one of my leadership roles over the past two school years. It is a pleasure to be up close with this newsletter because it allows me the opportunity to see how to effectively express concerns and information to all staff in one central location on a weekly basis that aligns to the vision of the school.

This artifact aligns with ELCC Culture and Curriculum because the school budget sets goals that align to the school culture by what courses and curriculum that is offered in the upcoming school year, this ultimately sets the school culture for what type of students that will attend the school as well. It is the principals responsibility to ensure that the budget goals set the school up for a successful year with curriculum that will be challenging and engaging for the students. The school budget also is controlled by student attendance so the more that it is centered around the students the better the outcomes for the school overall.
